    Hello. I have the MagicBands linked to my account but do I have to wait until the day of trip for them to link to the reservation/park or when we actually arrive, etc? It's not clear. Also, do you have any tips? Thank you

    Hi Christy! Thanks for bringing your question to planDisney.

    I have some good news for you! Once you have linked your MagicBand+ bands to your Disneyland Resort account, linked your admission tickets to your Disneyland Resort account and assigned them to a band, and made your theme park reservations, those tickets and reservations will be linked to your active MagicBand+. There's no additional step. You'll simply scan into the parks at the entrance hands-free! Throughout the day, you'll also enjoy hands-free scanning at Lightning Lane Entrances and when linking those priceless PhotoPass Service photos.

    MagicBand+ enhances your day in the parks beyond the convenience of scanning. There are interactive elements throughout the parks to discover and fun surprises on select attractions. If you have Star Wars fans in the group, an immersive experience with the bands is available in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge in Disneyland Park. Become a Bounty Hunter and collect your bounties with your band! It's a fun way to unlock surprises that will transport you to the world of Star Wars.

    While you're enjoying the atmosphere of Batuu, grab some beverages and bites and watch for your favorite Characters to wander by. You never know who you'll meet! Our favorite thing to sip as we relax is the Cold Brew Black Caf from Docking Bay 7 Food and Cargo. It gets us caffeinated for the rest of our adventures on planet and off.
