    Will MagicBands be functional by October 26th at Disneyland? I know the announcement said Fall 2022, but am hoping to get more clarity so I can purchase. Thanks!

    Hi Rachel, and welcome!

    I have some news to share with you about MagicBand+ at the Disneyland Resort – Guests will be able to purchase and experience this new feature starting October 19, 2022! There will be several locations throughout the resort where you can buy your very own MagicBand+, such as the Emporium inside Disneyland Park and Elias & Co. in Disney California Adventure Park.

    Once you have your MagicBand+, although it is not required, I highly recommend you link your MagicBand+ with your Disney Account through the Disneyland Mobile App. This will unlock even more features of the MagicBand+, such as using the MagicBand+ for park entry using your linked tickets, Lighting Lane redemptions if you have Genie+, and more.
