I have magicbands w- 4 day tickets attached. I am returning but am using different 3-day and 1-day tickets. Can I attach these to my bands? I don't want to void my unused 4-day tickets. thanks! Michelle

    Hi Michelle, welcome to planDisney!

Your eye for accessories during your Walt Disney World Resort vacations tells me you are quite the Disney fashionista. My park day must-wears include Minnie ears, comfortable shoes, a Goofy smile, and a MagicBand. MagicBands are colorful wristbands that allow you to tap into magic at theme park entry, Lightning Lane entrances, and with Disney PhotoPass photographers. MagicBand+ designs were recently released and word on Main Street, U.S.A., is that they light up, are rechargeable, and interact with the Fab 50 character statues. Can you imagine that?!

I've got great news for you, Michelle. If your MagicBands appear on the MagicBands and Cards page of your My Disney Experience account, they are automagically connected to all tickets linked to your account. That's because MagicBands are linked to a person, not a specific ticket.

It sounds like you'll have multiple tickets linked to your My Disney Experience account by the time you enter the parks next week, Michelle. When a Guest has multiple tickets linked to their account, ticket prioritization dictates which ticket will be used first. Only Cast Members have the magic needed to view and change ticket prioritization, which is why I highly recommend that you stop by a Guest Relations window before you enter your first theme park. Tell them which ticket you would like to use first, second, etc., and they will make sure your wish is granted. It's important to stop by Guest Relations before you enter the park because you don't want to risk using one of your 4-day ticket days by mistake.

I'll also mention that the battery life of older MagicBand designs is said to be approximately two years. Mine is still going strong after three years, but I like to have a backup method of entry ready, just in case. I chose a Minnie design for my Disney MagicMobile pass. It matches my ears <<wink wink>>.

I hope this information helps you enjoy your great, big, beautiful tomorrow, Michelle. Thanks for inviting planDisney to be a part of your vacation planning team.

    Choose magic,
