If I have magicbands on my account that I reported lost that I no longer use, need, or have how do I make them disappear on my account. I need more help or assistance please.

Hey there, Joseph. Thanks for stopping by planDisney with your question. I noticed that you'll be vacationing at Walt Disney World in just a few short months. I bet you are getting so excited.

MyDisneyExperience is the central hub for all things planning-wise when it comes to your Walt Disney World vacation, including managing your MagicBands and cards. From the website or app, you are able to deactivate any or all of your MagicBands and cards or report them lost or stolen. To do that, simply login to your MyDisneyExperience account. From the main menu, select the "My MagicBands and Cards" button. Then select the person whose MagicBand or Card you'd like to shut off. From there it's just an easy click of the button. Currently, there isn't any way for Guests to completely erase old MagicBands and cards off of their account themselves. There really isn't any need to unless you just think it looks cluttered on your account. If you really need the MagicBands and cards wiped from your account, you can call the MagicBand Guest Services line and they will be able to do this for you. Their phone number is (407) 939-4357. Again, if you don't want to go through the trouble of calling, the inactive MagicBands really do nothing to your account and it doesn't hurt to just leave them there.

Speaking of your MyDisneyExperience account, I wanted to let you know that on your next Walt Disney World vacation, you'll probably be using the app more than ever so be sure to have it downloaded on your smartphone before you go. The app will show you current wait times for attractions at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks and even unlock your Walt Disney World Resort room door. But the feature I found myself using the most when I was there a few weeks ago is mobile ordering. Currently, most quick-service dining locations are only offering mobile ordering and cashless payments. You'll be able to view menu items, customize your picks and pay while using this feature. When your food is ready, the app will send you a notification telling you which pick-up window your food is at and the Cast Member at the entrance of the restaurant will allow you inside to get it. It's actually really convenient and I think faster than before.

I hope you get your MagicBands all straighten out, Joseph. If you have any questions before your trip, I'm here to help. Have fun!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
