Hi Farrah,
Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your vacation is coming up soon, can you feel the magic?
MagicBand+ is new to all of us, but Hakuna Matata, I’m sure you’ll be a pro at using it after this trip!
First, check out these
set up steps and try setting up the MagicBand+ one more time. If that doesn’t help, you can do a
few more things.
The Walt Disney World actually has some MagicBand+ Resources, so let's go through those! Next, double check that the battery level is okay, if it’s not, simply charge the MagicBand+ and try connecting again once it has more power!
Next, you’ll want to double check that your Bluetooth is enabled and in use for your
My Disney Experience mobile app (you can check for that in your phone's settings). You’ll also want to confirm that both your app and MagicBand+ are fully up to date.
You can also power your
MagicBand+ off and on as well as do a factory reset on your MagicBand+. If you do the factory reset, you might lose some of your settings you created on your MagicBand+, so make sure that is your last resort.
Finally, if you’re still having no success with any of these troubleshooting methods, definitely connect with the
My Disney Experience, MagicBand and MagicBand+ help desk!
I hope this “Bit By Bryanna” is useful as you make the final touches on your Walt Disney World vacation. If you have any other questions,
please feel free to reach out, I’m always happy to help!
The Magic Is Calling,
Bryanna
