Hi there, Caitlyn! Thank you for sailing by planDisney for some advice. I’m happy to help!
You can use either a MagicBand+ from the theme parks or a
DisneyBand+ onboard the Disney Wish. Cast Members at the terminal will ensure your band is linked and ready to go. You can use the band to access your stateroom, make purchases, link photos to your account, and disembark the ship. My favorite feature is the lights and vibrations. You can even change the color pattern under your band settings. For the best experience, make sure your band is fully charged, as the lights and vibrations require a strong battery.
As far as charging stations go, I usually bring along a USB multi-port charger that plugs directly into an outlet.
Extension cords and power strips are prohibited. You’ll also find USB ports conveniently located by the desk and nightstands. I like to bring an extra-long cord when charging my phone so that I can keep it charged while still using the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app.
The app also features helpful deck plans to help you navigate the ship. You can also look down at your feet to help you determine if you are in the forward or aft of the ship. The carpet by the elevators is blue when you are at the aft or back of the ship, and it’s green by the forward elevators.
Have a magical voyage, Caitlyn, and cruise our way with any follow-up questions.
SEAS the adventure!
