Hey Howdy Hey Amanda, welcome to planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with your excellent question. I'm thrilled to assist you! Linking tickets must mean you're gearing up for a trip to
Walt Disney World! You are sure to make awesome memories at The Most Magical Place on Earth!
Amanda, once you've linked your
MagicBand+, you'll automatically have access to all the plans for your children on your account, including tickets and meals. To share plans with your husband, he will need to create his own My Disney Experience account if he hasn't already. Afterward, simply add him to your
Friends & Family list. This will allow you to manage all your plans, including
Lightning Lane Passes, from your own account while still being able to share plans and tickets with him. If your husband links a MagicBand+ and is added to your Friends & Family list, he will be able to access all the plans for you and the children as well.
If you choose not to get a MagicBand+, I'd like you to know there are other options. Disney
MagicMobile Service is a great alternative. This service is a feature of the My Disney Experience app. This app feature offers quick and easy access to the theme parks and Disney Resort hotel amenities through an eligible iPhone, Apple Watch or Android phone. You will be able to use Disney MagicMobile Service to enter the theme parks (with valid admission), link Disney PhotoPass images to your Disney account, check in at virtual queue and Lightning Lane entrances.
Another alternative is to get an admission card at any Walt Disney World park ticket window. Be prepared to show your ticket confirmation email, the credit card used to make the purchase, and a valid photo ID. We have used them in the past and my kids loved using them to make Mickey turn green at touchpoints. They also feature different character designs and make great souvenirs.
I hope this information helps you prepare for an exciting visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Amanda! Thank you again for visiting planDisney. Have a Magical Day!
