If I have a magicband and dining plan but I do not want to use my dining plan to eat breakfast but want to charge it to my room is that possible?

Welcome to Disney Parks Moms Panel, Martha!

    This is a great question!

When touring Walt Disney World, you'll find that your MagicBand and Disney Dining Plan will make your vacation feel even more magical.

Your MagicBand is connected to your My Disney Experience Account, so you can access anything you have associated with that account via scanning your band. This means that your resort reservation, Dining Plan entitlements, FastPass+ plans, PhotoPass options and, if you associate a credit card with your resort reservation, even charging privileges are all available with no fuss or fumbling through pockets or bags. Easy peasy!

When you order snacks, a Quick-Service meal or a Table-Service meal, tell your server if you'll be using a Dining Plan entitlement or if you'd like to charge the cost to your room account instead. The choice is yours. You can even check the balance of that type of Dining Plan entitlement (snack, Quick-Service, Table-Service) near the bottom of each receipt, as the quantity remaining for the length of your party's stay will be printed there.

The ease of your MagicBand combined with your Disney Dining Plan will spoil you for sure, Martha; enjoy every moment of it!

Send more questions as you think of them, too; we love to help!
