    Can my Magicband+ be deactivated from my account and used by someone else at a later date?

    Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by. I hope that you had a wonderful vacation at Walt Disney World Resort and enjoyed all of the perks of your MagicBand+. Hopefully, you'll be excitedly planning another magical visit soon.

    Regarding your MagicBand+ being linked to your My Disney Experience profile, unfortunately, per the MagicBand+ FAQ page, "Once a MagicBand+, MagicBand or card is linked to your Disney account, it cannot be transferred to another person for use at the Walt Disney World Resort." You will just have to hang on to it and use it again on your next visit to Walt Disney World Resort. My favorite bands sit in a shadowbox along with keepsakes of our trips as a reminder of the adventures and where they're easily accessible for that next trip "home."

    Speaking of the next trip, this is a great time to start planning your next adventure as they just opened up booking for dates in 2025 and announced a new special perk. Guests arriving in 2025 and staying at a Disney Resort Hotel will now receive admission to one of the Walt Disney World Resort Water Parks on their check-in day! How splashtastic is that?! While it seems quite a ways away, I am always my happiest when we have a Disney countdown (or two) to look forward to. Especially with Tiana's Bayou Adventure opening later this summer!
