Hi magical "moms"! Would like to visit the Boardwalk (for the first time). Kids are 6 and 3. About how long would you recommend putting aside for this adventure? Is it better in the daytime or night? Could we walk to Beaches and Cream? THANKS!

    Hi Randi,

Thanks for coming back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with another question!  My family and I love taking a stroll down on the Boardwalk, it is a great way to spend an afternoon and get away from the crowds for a while.  My daughter is four years old and I find a couple of hours is generally enough for her.  We like heading over late afternoon, just before dinner and we usually make dining reservations in the area to take full advantage of the lively atmosphere.

I have walked to Beaches & Cream Soda Shop from Disney's Boardwalk Inn and Villas Resort.  Although it is manageable, it may be a bit far for your children.  Instead of walking, I would recommend taking one of the Friendship Boats.  This is a great option to extend your adventure, and allow for some down time while on the boat, and it is more fun than walking between the two Resorts.

I hope you have a magical time exploring the Boardwalk Randi.  Please let me know if you have any other questions.  I would be happy to help.
