We have this magical vision of riding the monorail to Chef mickeys. Our reservation is for 7:30 am. Can we ride the bus to mk and then ride the monorail over that early?

    Hi Lacy!

One of my family's favorite things about Disney's Contemporary Resort is riding the monorail right into the hotel. So I think your idea of riding the monorail to your breakfast at Chef Mickey's is a fantastic idea! I was just traveling with my fellow Moms Panelist Heather from Disney's Polynesian Resort to Magic Kingdom for an early breakfast at Be Our Guest and, in our experience, the Resort Monorail did not start running until 8:30 a.m. Busses were available to transport Guests between resort hotels on the monorail and to Magic Kingdom.

So if you plan on traveling to Magic Kingdom, either through complimentary resort transportation from a Walt Disney World Resort hotel or your own transportation, you can check to see if the Resort Monorail has started running. If so, then perfect! If it isn't, you can make the short walk from Magic Kingdom over to the hotel so you can enjoy breakfast with Mickey and the gang! Either way, after breakfast you should be able to hop aboard the monorail for a ride around Seven Seas Lagoon for a magical day at Magic Kingdom!

Let us know if you have any other questions as you prepare for your trip! T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
