Hello! We had a magical first trip to Disney World in October of 2025, and can’t wait to go back! Can you tell me approximately when the February, 2027 resort bookings open up? Can’t wait to put down a deposit!

    Hi Heather,

Welcome to planDisney! I’m so happy that you had a magical first visit to Walt Disney World! I visited for the first time when I was very young, and while I don’t remember the whole vacation I do remember some pivotal moments from it. It’s so cool that you’ll likely remember your first visit forever. As a fellow planner, I admire your forward thinking. Preparing for your 2027 vacation now is super smart!

As my fellow panelist Jessica notes, reservations for 2027 will likely open sometime this spring. Historically I’ve seen reservations open around May or June, but this could change. Jessica provides some really great pro tips like giving some thought to your preferred resorts now and using the special offers page to snag current deals when you book.

Tips I would add to hers are to really look at the calendar when you book and add reminders to whichever digital calendar you use to remind you of your Disney vacation pre-trip milestones. For example, as a Disney Resort guest you can book dining reservations and Enchanting Extras as early as 6 a.m. Eastern 60 days prior to your arrival date. At 7:00 a.m. Eastern 7 days prior to your arrival date you’ll be able to purchase Lightning Lane passes.

Heather I hope your second trip to the magic is even more magical than your first was. If you need any help with planning we’ll be here ready to help. We’ll see ya real soon!

    Your pal,
