Disney's Magical Express

Hi! Does Magical Express still collect your luggage and bring to your room? We want to take a car from the Orlando airport instead of Magical Express to Disney Springs, however we don't know if our bags can still go with ME without us. Thanks!

    Welcome to planDisney, Kristin!

I hope you’re getting excited for your trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth! There’s so much to be excited about! You’re going to be visiting during the 50th Anniversary Celebration! Enjoy all of the EARidescent magic throughout the entire Resort!

Due to changes caused by the COVID-19 pandemic, Disney’s Magical Express stopped the luggage service that was once offered. Now, Guests are in charge of obtaining their luggage from the baggage claim carousels at Orlando International Airport, transporting their luggage to Disney’s Magical Express, and transferring their luggage to their Disney Resorts Collection hotel rooms.

I’m afraid that your luggage will need to stay with you during your journey to Walt Disney World. My suggestion would be to use Disney’s Magical Express to get your party and luggage to your hotel (use Online Check-In to utilize Direct-To-Room Service). From your hotel, you’ll be able to hop to Disney Springs using complimentary transportation or by grabbing a ride service.

You’re going to have a lovely vacation, Kristin! If you have additional questions, we’re always here for you at planDisney!
