    Roderick from CA Asked

Will the Magical Express bus be available to use from MCO to the cruise terminal in 2022?

    Ahoy again, Roderick!

Welcome back onboard. I hope this means you are checking on the early 2022 Disney Cruise Line itineraries that are available and deciding which one you will be sailing. Or perhaps you are booked on one already! I know you missed out on your back to back sailings in November, so I’m sending you a truckload of pixie dust that your next one will happen!

Disney Cruise Line ground transportation is something that my family totally relies on to get to our cruise ship and return back to the airport on time. With the recent announcement about Disney’s Magical Express at Walt Disney World being phased out in 2022, I can understand why you are asking about ground transfers for your future Disney cruise.

Good news! The Disney Cruise Line transportation is a completely different entity than Disney’s Magical Express. Since this is a service that Guests pay for in order to facilitate transportation to and from the port, I don’t expect that it will be going anywhere. I know that’s probably a relief to you and countless other Guests who look forward to letting Captain Mickey do the driving for them. While that’s complete guesswork on my part, I would be surprised if this convenient option ever went away.

I have been on buses traveling between Port Canaveral with Disney Cruise Line theming all over the outside of the bus as well as buses with Disney’s Magical Express and with no Disney decor. The bottom line: it didn’t matter so much the decorations on the outside because the bus still traveled to the port. What matters most is that Disney Cruise Line still plans to offer this as an add-on service to make things easier for its Guests, and I have seen nothing indicating that this will change. To keep tabs on all the Disney Cruise Line developments going forward, I recommend the Disney Parks Blog because that’s usually where I get the most “hot off the press” information.

Think of anything else? Then hop back on the planDisney bus and ask more fun questions like you always do.

    SEA ya real soon!
