Thanks for bringing your question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Diane.
Although
MagicBands are non transferable and may not be shared for admission into a
Walt Disney World Resort Theme Park, I have allowed my daughter to use my MagicBand to redeem a
FastPass+ reservation I had booked for myself while we were in the Park together. We were supposed to ride
Expedition Everest - Legend of the Forbidden Mountain together, but I had a terrible headache and did not feel like riding. Besides
Avatar Flight of Passage, Expedition Everest is my daughter’s favorite ride at
Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and I hated to disappoint her by not riding it with her. I figured the next best thing was allowing her to use my FastPass to ride a second time while I waited for her by the exit.
Although this was not an ideal situation, I hated to let my FastPass+ experience go to waste. It is definitely not something we have made a habit of, as one of the main thrills of our Walt Disney World Resort vacations is experiencing the attractions together. Please also keep in mind that your daughter must be at least 7 years old to experience an attraction on her own. If she is under 7, you will need to use your FastPass to accompany her in the FastPass+ queue and on the attraction, too.
I hope this answers your question, Diane. Please let us know if there’s anything else we can do to help you as you plan your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation.
