Do any of the magic passes offer a bring a friend at a discount days?

Hi there, Gemma! I’m so glad you stopped by to visit us here at planDisney! As a fellow Disneyland Magic Key holder for a few years now, I always get excited to chat about the magic it unlocks, so I’m thrilled to help with your question.

I love that you asked about bringing friends along—after all, Disneyland is so much better with your pals by your side, right?! Ticket discounts are definitely something many Magic Key holders are curious about. While the Magic Key program packs a whole lot of Disneyland Resort fun and flexibility for you, offering specially discounted park tickets for friends isn't currently one of the specific perks included.

However, don't you worry! Being a Magic Key holder comes with its own wonderful collection of benefits that can make your own visits even more delightful. Think of it like having your own special key to unlock extra sprinkles of happiness throughout the year! The core benefit, of course, is the wonderful ability to make park reservations and pop into Disneyland Park or Disney California Adventure Park throughout the year, letting you make memories more often (subject to your pass type's reservation availability and blockout dates, of course!). Alongside this access, you'll often find delightful discounts on merchandise at many shops and on delicious food and beverages at select dining locations across the resort—perfect for grabbing that must-have souvenir or a tasty treat!

One truly special perk you can enjoy all year is access to the Magic Key Terrace over in Disney California Adventure Park. It's a lovely dining spot with a welcoming atmosphere, and the really great part is that you can share this experience! As a Magic Key holder, you have the wonderful opportunity to invite your friends and family to join you there. Since it's a place specially created for Magic Key holders and their guests to enjoy together, sharing a meal or a relaxing moment here feels like a unique treat—a fantastic way to add a little extra sparkle to your park day with your companions.

Beyond these regular benefits, Gemma, you should also keep an eye out for other magical offerings that sometimes pop up just for Magic Key holders! These fun surprises, called Extras Unlocked, might include things like dedicated photo opportunities, or perhaps special event access or unique giveaways that add extra dashes of fun throughout the year.

So, while those specific friend ticket discounts aren't part of the current lineup, being a Magic Key holder truly opens the door to so much convenience and extra enchantment for your own Disneyland Resort visits—and even offers unique ways to share a bit of the magic with friends, like at the Magic Key Terrace!

I hope this overview helps spark excitement for all the ways your Magic Key lets you create and share Disneyland enchantment, Gemma! Wishing you countless happy visits filled with laughter and wonderful moments alongside your favorite people. If any more questions come to mind, please remember your pals at planDisney are always happy to help!
