Welcome to planDisney, Lori! Before you know it, you'll be celebrating the
holiday season at the Most Magical Place on Earth! With so much to see and do, and so many
seasonal snacks to sample, you're going to have a holly jolly holiday!
Lori, with the Park Hopper Option, you have the flexibility to purchase
Lightning Lane Multi Pass for any of the four theme parks, even if it is not the park where you have a reservation. This is a great strategy if you plan to enter one park at rope drop to experience a few popular attractions and would like to stack rides for later in the afternoon or evening at another theme park! When you make your advance selections, all 3 initial selections must be for the same theme park, but once you have redeemed your first attraction, you are eligible to select any attraction at any theme park (subject to availability). I found that this flexibility gives great value to this product when park hopping; on a recent visit, I purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass for my first park of the day (Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park) and then started to stack rides for the afternoon at EPCOT, and later for the evening at Magic Kingdom Park!
Keep in mind, Lori, that with your park hopper ticket, you can also purchase up to two Lightning Lane Single Pass entries for attractions at any of the theme parks. So if you're planning to start your day at EPCOT and want to save the galaxy on
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, you can purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for this attraction even if you purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass at Magic Kingdom Park! If you're like me and want to double up on your thrills, you can also opt to join the
Virtual Queue that morning for a second chance to soar through those jump points, and you can purchase a Lightning Lane Single Pass for TRON Lightcycle/Run for when you park hop!
Lori, I hope this helps! Remember that once you have tapped into your reserved theme park, you can hop to your second park at any time (subject to park availability)! I always enjoy the ride on the
Disney Monorail between EPCOT and Magic Kingdom; the Disney transportation options are part of the fun of hopping! If you have any other vacation planning questions before your arrival, come on back to
planDisney and let us know! We're always here to help!
See you real soon,
Alison
