We are going on the Magic Nov 29th for a 5 night itinerary. Wondering if there is a formal night on a 5 night itinerary? Also, is there a princess tea party etc? It's a verymerry christmas cruise so I'm not sure if the activities will be modified?

    Ahoy, Karen!

It won't be long before it's time to set sail on your very merry, magical Disney Cruise Line vacation! What fun you'll have enjoying all there is to see and do on a Disney Cruise, plus all the wonderful holiday enhancements they have planned for you. The Disney Magic will be decked out from stem to stern with gorgeous holiday decorations, including a beautiful Christmas tree in the Lobby Atrium. Make sure to take lots of pictures - you might get the perfect shot for your family Christmas card!

On a five-night voyage, you'll typically have three "Cruise Casual" evenings, one "Cruise Casual or Pirate" night, and one "Optional Dress-Up" night, when it comes to dressing for dinner. That being said, your cruise itinerary includes lots of holiday merriment, such as a tree lighting ceremony and holiday parties in the Youth Clubs. You might want to pack some cute holiday-themed clothes for photos with the characters, decked out in their Christmas best!

You'll also want to bring your favorite pirate gear for Pirate Night, the most swashbuckling fun evening on the high seas! Some guests will dress up with something as simple as an eye patch, while others will go full-blown Captain Jack Sparrow. Shiver me timbers, it's a jolly good time to bring out your inner scallywag!

While they don't currently offer a princess tea party on this sailing, you'll likely have many opportunities to interact with favorite Disney royalty. On the day you board the ship, make sure to stop by Guest Services for Character Meet and Greet ticket distribution. These free tickets guarantee guests a spot in line for popular meet and greets like the Princess Gathering and Princess Anna and Queen Elsa.

I hope this helps with your planning! Bon Voyage and Happy Holidays! - Diane W.
