    Magic Mobile tile not on my Disney app and I’m trying to get my virtual membership card in my wallet

    Hi there, Steve! Thanks for stopping by planDisney--I'm so glad you found us, and it's always a pleasure to meet a fellow Disney Vacation Club Member AND a fellow Michigander. I see that you are arriving at Walt Disney World Resort TODAY (hooray!), so there's not a moment to lose to make sure you aren't late for any very important dates during your well-deserved vacation. 

    I enjoyed bicoastal Disney trips last month (including my first-ever vacation at Disneyland Resort with some of my planDisney besties!), and I was able to take advantage of many discounts on dining and shopping using my DVC discount. Using Disney MagicMobile has made these trips a breeze--I now use my phone for park entry and scanning into Lightning Lanes, rather than using a MagicBand. Let's walk through the steps so you can be sure your virtual Membership card is added to your pass!

    • First things first--make sure you are using the most recent version of the My Disney Experience app.
    • Make sure that you have linked your tickets, hotel reservations, and DVC Membership to your Disney account. 
    • From the home screen, select the three horizontal lines (the "hamburger menu") at lower right.
    • MagicMobile is not one of the tiles at the top of the screen; you'll need to scroll down to the section titled "Account". Here you'll see an option to "Set Up MagicMobile Entry". 
    • You should now see your MagicMobile pass! You can even change the design to suit your preferences. I currently have the DOLE Whip version which always makes me smile. 
    • Next, add the pass to your digital wallet--and voila! You should be all set. To show your DVC status, open your wallet and select the "i" icon at the upper right, which will display a QR code and should read "DVC Y" under the Affiliation section. 
    Steve, if you go through these steps and are still having issues, don't fret! You can stop at the Front Desk of your Resort Hotel, or stop by Guest Services at any of the theme parks or Disney Springs. The Cast Members there will be happy to help and have you up and running in no time.
