Hey there, hi there, ho there Denise! Welcome back to planDisney, and thank you for stopping by with your question. It sounds like you're getting ready for another unforgettable visit to the
Most Magical Place on Earth and I love that you're holding onto a piece of Disney history with that special 50th Anniversary MagicMobile pass! Let’s take a closer look at how to keep the magic going as you link your new tickets for this year’s adventure.
While the pass still appears with the 50th design in your My Disney Experience app, Disney has retired that particular design from being exported to wallets like Google Wallet. That means even though it still shows in the app, it will default to a current design when you add it to your wallet.
MagicMobile passes are linked to your My Disney Experience profile, not to specific tickets. This means that once your new tickets are linked to your profile, they will automatically be associated with your existing MagicMobile pass. You don’t need to create a new one unless you're having trouble accessing the parks or using the features.
If the visual aspect of the 50th design is important to you, you can still view and enjoy it within the My Disney Experience app. It may not carry over to your Google Wallet, but the pass itself remains functional and will work with your new tickets as long as everything is linked properly in your account.
Unfortunately, there’s no official way to force the 50th design to reappear in your Google Wallet. If you want to keep the memory alive, you might consider taking a screenshot of the design in the app or saving it as a phone wallpaper or keepsake.
I hope this information helps you make the most of your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort and brings a little extra pixie dust to your planning! Thank you so much for visiting planDisney, wishing you a magical trip filled with unforgettable memories!
