Hi Amber,
Welcome to planDisney! We are so happy you stopped by to bring us your question. And I am beyond excited for you that you are planning a visit during the most magical time of the year!
There’s just really nothing like the holidays at the Walt Disney World Resort. From soaking in Main Street, U.S.A. glowing with holiday décor, specialty treats in hand, and that first little hint of Christmas music floating through the air. Pure pixie dust!
Amber, I have good news! If your
Annual Pass is active at the time you purchase your party ticket in July, you should still be eligible to receive the
Annual Passholder discount during checkout, even if your pass expires before the actual party date in November.
The system typically looks at your Annual Pass status at the time of purchase, not the event date itself. As long as your pass is linked properly in your
My Disney Experience account and valid when you buy the ticket, you should be able to take advantage of that discount. That said, Disney does sprinkle a little “subject to availability” magic into the fine print, and Annual Passholder discounts for special events can occasionally have limited inventory allocated to them. My personal recommendation? If those party tickets drop in July, I’d hop on them faster than Tinker Bell heading to Cinderella Castle before fireworks.
I hope you have the most magical holiday visit this November, Amber! Here’s hoping your night includes short wait times, festive treats, and at least one perfect snowfall moment on Main Street!
Wishing you a very merry visit!
Emille
