    Hi When will the Magic Kingdom's 50th anniversary be celebrated at Walt Disney World? Thanks, Peggy.

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Peggy!

    Can you believe the most magical place on earth is getting ready to turn 50? And she looks better than ever! I’m super excited for what magical celebration that will be; with all the new upcoming attractions, updates, and special events that will be happening to commemorate the golden occasion! 

    Peggy, the Walt Disney World celebrates its anniversary October 1st, which celebrates the grand opening date of October 1st, 1971. I have a feeling that the Walt Disney World Resort will be having a yEAR-long celebration throughout 2021 for its 50th anniversary, but if you want to be a part of the big day, I would plan a visit for October 1st, 2021. 

    Nothing has officially been announced. For the latest news of all the happenings at Disney Parks, be sure to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and subscribe so you don’t miss any special announcements.
