We will be in the Magic Kingdom this weekend and expecting to stay until closing at 7pm. We then have an 8:15pm dinner reservation at the Boathouse in Disney Springs. What would you advise is the easiest way to get there and will that be enough time?

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Tracy! I'm so glad that I get to answer your question today because it sounds like you have a perfect day planned this weekend. The BOATHOUSE is definitely one of my all-time favorite restaurants at Walt Disney World Resort so any day that ends with dinner there sounds pretty great in my opinion. Getting to Disney Springs from Magic Kingdom Park is quick and easy and I'm happy to let you know exactly what you need to do to make it happen.

Tracy, you can take a direct trip to Disney Springs from Magic Kingdom Park by using the complimentary bus system. When you exit the Theme Park, veer to the left toward the bus loop and check to see which stop the Disney Springs bus will pick you up from. The last time I was there, stop 29 was the one for Disney Springs but be sure to check the signboard or ask a nearby Cast Member to ensure you're going to the right place. Although it's just a short 15 to 20-minute bus ride, I like to leave myself around 90 minutes of travel time in case there are any delays along the way and, of course, to give myself time to stop in the shops at Disney Springs on the way to dinner! If you have plans to leave Magic Kingdom Park at 7 p.m. for your 8:15 p.m. dining reservation, that should give you plenty of time to get there.

    Have a magical day, Tracy!
