Is magic kingdom usually not as full during the day when they host the mickeys xmas party that evening? We are not going to the party and wondering if we should go on a day that has a party or not.

    Hi there Wendy!

That is a great question and one that I have wondered about as well. When we went on a party day a couple of years ago the park did not seem as busy as on typical days, but it was also during the first weekend of December when crowd levels are usually low anyway. I think the party date has a lot to do with it as well. If you are going on a weekend, the levels will be higher than say a Tuesday. The closer you get to the holidays the more crowded it gets as well. I have found that if you arrive very early to the parks, then you should be able to enjoy many of the rides more so than arriving mid morning. Do remember, that while the party starts officially at 7, guests with party tickets are allowed to enter Magic Kingdom at 4, so the park will really start to feel more crowded around that time.

Thank you so much, Wendy for your question! I hope you have a wonderful time at Walt Disney World!
