Hi Heather! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
I bet you are looking forward to a special day with your daughter at
Magic Kingdom Park! My family also has our own must-do traditions when we visit the Walt Disney World Resort, so I understand what you are saying!
It looks like Magic Kingdom Park is closing at 6:00 p.m. for general admission Guests to make way for
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party beginning at 7:00 p.m. This means that Happy HalloWishes will be the fireworks show that night and only Guests with tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party will be in the theme park during that time.
You have a couple of options for still being able to watch the fireworks show. If the party isn't sold out, you could purchase tickets for the event either in addition to your general admission Walt Disney World tickets for earlier that day, or opt to do the party only that day instead. You could also consider watching the fireworks from one of the Disney Resort hotels located on the
Resort Monorail loop. Once exiting Magic Kingdom Park at 6:00 p.m., make your way over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort to grab dinner at Capt. Cook's, Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa for a meal at Grand Floridian Cafe, or walk over to Disney's Contemporary Resort for a bite at The Wave... of American Flavors, then spend some time exploring the resort's shopping until it is time for the fireworks. Then you can head outside and watch the fireworks from any of those resorts!
I know whatever you decide, you will have a magical day! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
