Hi, We will be going to Magic Kingdom before going on to Tampa, we will be towing a travel trailer behind our vehicle. Will we be able to park in the Magic Kingdom Parking lot while at the park for the day. Thank you

Ahoy, Debra, and greetings from here in sunny Tampa, Florida! Thanks for pulling up to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question. I'm happy to help you enjoy a magical day at the Magic Kingdom Park before hitting the road for our west coast paradise.

Have you guessed that I'm a Tampanian? Tampanite? Ok, we don't really have a good word for it, but while I live in the Tampa Bay area, my second home is the Walt Disney World Resort. And since we kind of have a thing for pirates here in Tampa, of course one of my favorite Disney attractions is - you guessed it - Pirates of the Caribbean right there in the Magic Kingdom.

It certainly sounds like you're planning a jam-packed day of adventure. But parking shouldn't be too much of an adventure for you, because I checked the Walt Disney World Parking page, and it does include camper trailers and RV's on the list of "oversized vehicles" you can park at the Theme Parks. You'll find the cost to park your vehicle at the link I provided above, so you can feel free to park your trailer and have a blast at the Magic Kingdom.

Debra, I hope this helps you plan a wonderful day at Walt Disney World. Safe travels, and be sure to say "arrgh" to those scurvy pirates before heading here to my pirate-crazy city!

    Keep Disney Dreaming, Matey!

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
