Hello and welcome to
planDisney. I always love seeing a fellow North Carolinian stop by with questions about a trip to the
Most Magical Place On Earth.
Michael, it's exciting to start thinking and planning for the holiday season. That's actually my favorite time of year to visit the
Walt Disney World Theme Parks. Both Halloween and Christmastime are so festive and fun there.
Michael, plans for Halloween festivities at Walt Disney World for this year have not yet been announced. I'd say that we should expect something to come from the
Disney Parks Blog a little bit more into spring. Last year, the
Disney After Hours Boo Bash ran on select nights between August 10th and October 31st. If you are visiting during that timeframe, however, keep in mind that the party isn't every night. You will be able to enjoy Magic Kingdom Park well into the night between party dates if your travel itinerary allows. Depending on the day, last year the after-hours event started at either 9:00 p.m. or 9:30 p.m. So if that is still the case, even if you have to visit Magic Kingdom Park on a party night, you'll still have a full fun day. On party nights, you can even expect the regular firework show,
Disney Enchantment, to be performed before closing to regular day park Guests.
It's hard to know what to expect for this holiday season since everything has changed so much within the last few years, Michael. Will Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party return or will it be a version of the all-new Disney After Hours Boo Bash again? We will both just have to wait and see.
I hope this helps you plan out your itinerary a little bit better, Michael. If you have any other questions about this or anything else, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help.
Boo to you!
Jackie H.
