Hi Eva, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!
Birthdays and Walt Disney World go together like cake and ice cream. My 5-year-old has spent all of his birthdays there, so I'd love to help you make your little guy's big day extra special.
First, be sure to stop by Guest Relations and pick up a free "Happy Birthday" button. Your son will love the warm birthday wishes he'll get all day, and you may just receive a little extra pixie dust here and there.
Since your visit is coming so soon, it may be tough to reserve a Table Service meal. I'd give it a shot by calling Disney Dining to try to get a reservation that someone else may have cancelled. If there's nothing available, never fear! There are still great places to eat that don't require a reservation. Head up to the balcony at Pinocchio Village Haus and munch on pizza and flatbread with a fabulous view of Fantasyland; grab a burger at Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe in Tomorrowland while your little guy dances to the tunes of galactic lounge lizard Sonny Eclipse; or have a hot dog with the works at Casey's Corner on Main Street, U.S.A.
My favorite character experience is the Meet Mickey Mouse location in the Town Square area near the front of the Theme Park. Be sure to tell Mickey it's your son's birthday and have your video camera handy - you just may get an unforgettable surprise!
I hope this helps you plan a magical birthday celebration for your son, Eva. Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions.
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
