Does the magic kingdom show change to Halloween one in September even though it’s not a Halloween night? Also if not a party night does the dessert party have Halloween desserts or same as rest of year?

    Hi Kristin,

It looks like you have some AMAZING plans for September! How exciting is that?

Being at the Walt Disney World Resort in September is awesome because you will get to experience two different fireworks shows at Magic Kingdom Park if you attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party.

On regular nights you will still be able to watch the gorgeous Happily Ever After Fireworks Show. It brings me to tears every single time and I am sure it will also move you.

But if you attend Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, you will also be able to enjoy the exclusive fireworks show that happens when the party is on: HalloWishes!

As for the offerings at the Dessert Parties, I'm happy to tell you that you will also experience two different menus. When Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party takes over Magic Kingdom Park, the menu is filled with deliciously spooky treats that are perfect to enhance the HalloWishes experience.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is one of my favorite ways to enjoy Magic Kingdom Park because families can wear matching costumes. It is amazing to witness such creativity flowing through Main Street U.S.A. Just take a look at the costume rules and let your own creativity flow!

I hope that you have the most spooktacular time at Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, but before September comes, please, stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel so we can help you even more.

May the magic be with you, Kristin!
