Ahoy, Larry the Land Lover! If ye be seekin’ adventure and salty old pirates, yer sails are full on the proper heading, says I! Welcome to
planDisney, Larry. Thanks for bringing this great question to us! One of my favorite parts of the
Walt Disney World Resort is the excitement of trying something new. With the abundance of magic Disney brings, there is rarely a trip without a new experience, which is definitely what keeps me coming back.
I’ve set my course for
The Beak and Barrel a time or two before, and I definitely have a reservation next week as well. The
menu is concise, but very tasty! A light meal and beverage is exactly what I was looking for on my prior visits, and the dishes they serve are well suited for this. The Cook’s Corn Griddle Cakes with Chipotle-braised Chicken is very good and about the right size to split with someone if you’re looking for a few bites. It’s absolutely delicious! The Island Provisions, however, is equally delicious and maybe easier to share. The chips, tortillas, and flatbread with various dips are perfect for the table so everyone can jump in at once.
Beak and Barrel serves standard Coke products like Coke, Diet Coke, and Sprite, but unfortunately no iced tea. If you’re specifically looking for some non-alcoholic options, there are several fun themed specialty beverages on the menu. Regardless of what you order, you’re going to love your visit. The entire space is entertaining and has something to look at, but see if you can request a table with a good view of the whole room, specifically the bar area. Keep yer weather eye open, ye scallywags! There be wild fortunes layin' in wait at every bend, matey!
Larry the Land Lover, I hope you have a great trip and soak up the new experience. If you have more questions,
just let me know, or set your heading for
planDisney! They’re the saltiest pirates of ‘em all!
Have a magical day!
