We are going the magic kingdom on the 3rd of sep and have a reservation, we are also going to mnsshp at night do we need to make a reservation as we will be a the park anyway

    Boo to you, Jean!

Welcome to planDisney, foolish mortal! My name is Ariane, and I will be your panelist, your ghost panelist. I am so glad that you decided to come to join us happy haunts to ask this spooky question! Your cadaverous pallor betrays an aura of foreboding, almost as though you sense a disquieting metamorphosis. Is this haunted website actually loading, or did Stitch eat the page?

I am so glad that you and your fellow grim grinning ghosts decided to celebrate the Halloween season by going to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party! To answer your question, you would still need to purchase special event tickets to be able to attend the Halloween party. Indeed, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party is a special ticketed event that does not require regular theme park entry or reservations. Since park capacity is limited, you do need a ticket and wristband, which are given at the park's main entrance, to be able to enjoy this event. Since the Halloween parties tend to be quite popular, I would suggest that you purchase your tickets as soon as possible to ensure you get the date of your choosing. Also, don't forget to link your ticket to your My Disney Experience account so that you can tap into the Magic Kingdom on the day of your Halloween party!

Now, let's talk about some of the spooktacular offerings you will be able to experience during your Halloween party! One of my favourite parts is the unique entertainment only available during the Halloween party. If your family loves Hocus Pocus as much as I do, you must stop by Cinderella Castle to watch the Hocus Pocus Villain Spectacular featuring the Sanderson Sisters. Be careful, though, as they are known to put spells on you! Then, you must also watch the famous Mickey's Boo to You Halloween Parade and the Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular. Lastly, the Halloween season would not be complete without trick-or-treating! All guests can pick up a small reusable back upon entry so you can stop by all the trick-or-treat locations. Also, keep an eye out for special Halloween desserts around the park and Resort. I still have dreams about that Pumpkin Tiramisu from Disney's Hollywood Studios. For more Halloween tips, make sure to check out our brand new planDisney podcast episode and our list of our favourite treats.

I hope this was helpful, Jean, and that you and your fellow happy haunts will have the spookiest day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your trip, please don't hesitate to reach out. Much like grim grinning ghosts, we love to come out and socialize!

    Have a not-so-scary day,

    Ariane
