Which Magic Kingdom restaurants can I eat at without Disney World ticket? Would like to watch fireworks on arrival night before tickets are effective on January 10.

    Hello, Jean!

I already love your question because it means you're a planner like us! The Disney Parks Moms Panel is all about good planning choices, and yours is a GREAT one!

There are three restaurants from which you will be able to see the fantastic Magic Kingdom Park fireworks. 'Ohana, at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, is my first suggestion because of the joyful atmosphere. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is my favorite Disney Resort hotel because its ambiance puts you in vacation mode immediately.

Some of 'Ohana's tables offer a beautiful fireworks view, but my favorite way to watch them from this resort is from the beach. The perfect plan if you're dining there, in my opinion, is to book dinner for 7:00 p.m. and then watch the show after finishing your meal with the outstanding ‘Ohana Bread Pudding.

Narcoossee's, at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, is also a fantastic choice if you like seafood. The menu is mouthwatering, and the ambiance is super classy. It's a terrific option to start your vacation on a high note.

You will also find an excellent option at Disney's Contemporary Resort. Many Disney fans LOVE California Grill,  its flagship restaurant, and all of them are absolutely right. The view is outstanding, and the flavors on the menu are bold and bright. My husband and I celebrated our last anniversary there, and we had a fantastic time!

I hope these suggestions help you plan for an incredible first dinner at the Walt Disney World Resort this January, Jean! If more questions come up before you get there, please, let us help you again. It's always a pleasure!

May the magic be with you,

    Julie
