Hi Christopher!
I'm so excited to see that you're planning to visit Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season! There's nothing like enjoying
Magic Kingdom while it's beautifully decorated for the holidays. Plus, the incredible tasty holiday treats throughout the theme parks, Disney Resort hotels, and Disney Springs will definitely infuse your vacation with holiday cheer!
On November 18, Magic Kingdom will be hosting
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which is why the park closes at 6:00 p.m. The party, which starts at 7:00 p.m., is a specially ticketed event where party Guests can enjoy the theme park's attractions and exclusive party entertainment during their special night. You'll need a separate ticket from your standard theme park ticket to enjoy the party. So unfortunately, if you don't have tickets to the party, you'll be directed towards the park's exit after 6:00 p.m. and you won't be able to enjoy the park's attractions for the remainder of the evening.
Christopher, it looks like there are still
tickets available for the party on November 18, so you may want to consider adding this special event to your itinerary. Or, if you have any flexibility in your schedule, you can look into changing your reservation to enjoy Magic Kingdom on a different day, which will allow you to enjoy the theme park's nighttime activities. Otherwise, if you do visit on a party day, you'll still be able to have a fabulous time during your magical day and once you exit the park, you can use the evening hours to explore the magic at the Disney Resort hotels or
Disney Springs!
Come back to see us if we can provide additional help planning your Magic Kingdom visit. T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
