Hey Howdy Hey Emily and welcome to planDisney!
Visiting the Walt Disney World Resort in the fall is such a great experience. Not only are the temperatures more comfortable but the whole resort has such a relaxing feel with the subtle decorations around to welcome the fall season.
Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween party in Magic Kingdom is another huge draw for a seasonal celebration. Thank you for stopping by with your question about off days from the Halloween party. I will be happy to give you more information so you can better plan for your upcoming vacation.
Emily, I am happy to report that during the fall season, on off days from the Halloween party, you will find Magic Kingdom with just as much Magic as any other day out of the year. Park operations and the full day will be a standard day complete with
Happily Ever After to round out the evening, weather permitting. While you will find special decorations throughout the park for fall and Halloween as well as some special treats at various locations, much of the Halloween-specific festivities will be found during the party.
If you want the full experience of seeing Happily Ever After as well as the Halloween fireworks without having to pay to get into Magic Kingdom, I've got a recommendation for you. From the beaches of the
Polynesian Village Resort, you have a great view of Cinderella Castle in the Magic Kingdom. During the fireworks, the music from Magic Kingdom is pipped into the speakers around the beach while you watch the fireworks show from afar. It is a nice way to view the fireworks and crowds are much less compared to being in the parks.
I hope this information was helpful so you can better plan for your upcoming vacation. If you have any further questions, please feel free to reach out and let us know, we are always happy to help!
Have a Magical day,
Nick
