When I get to the Magic Kingdom, and park my vehicle, how far is the wheelchair pickup place?

Hey there, hi there, ho there, Florence! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney. Thank you so much for stopping by with your question!

When you park at Magic Kingdom, you’ll actually begin your journey at the Transportation and Ticket Center (TTC). That’s the main hub where Guests catch the Monorail or Ferryboat over to the park. But don’t worry about the distance from your car, because parking trams run continuously from the parking lot to the TTC, and they’re a super convenient and accessible option if you’d prefer not to walk.

Once you’ve arrived at the TTC, you’ll find Mickey’s Gift Station, which is where wheelchair rentals are available for the day. To help you get there comfortably, there are usually complimentary courtesy wheelchairs available near the tram loading zones at the parking lot itself. These are just for getting from your vehicle to the rental location. You’ll then be able to exchange it for a standard rental and be ready to roll for the rest of your magical day!

If you need assistance locating one of the courtesy chairs or have specific accessibility needs, feel free to flag down a nearby Cast Member. They’re always happy to help and can guide you directly to where you need to go.

Florence, I hope this helps you feel a little more prepared as you head to Magic Kingdom! If you have any other questions before your visit, please don’t hesitate to reach out again. We’re always here and so happy to help make every step (or roll!) of your day a little more magical.

    Warm hugs,
