Will there be a Magic Kingdom parade and fireworks every day April 15 - 29? Planning Disneyworld trip with the kids and this is all they care about.

    Hiya, Anston!

Welcome to planDisney, I’m so excited to hear that you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World in just a few months. Hooray!

I’m not sure what stage of vacationing I love more, planning or enjoying the planned plans. Honestly, all of it is so fun especially when I see what I planned come to life. Like this summer for example, I booked and surprised my family with an Enchanting Extra. Watching them enjoy our fishing excursion was just as exciting as when I booked it. Actually, watching them fish was hands down better than planning but I was still squealing with excitement when I first booked it.

Anston, I can tell that you and I are similar and like to be prepared. I did happen to take a look at the hours & events calendar and as of now, April’s events aren’t available just yet. I recommend adding that link to your favorites and checking back in a week or two. Keep in mind that fireworks and parades may change depending on weather, but April should bring springtime sunshine!

For a more up-to-date approach I recommend downloading the My Disney Experience app and checking showtimes each day you’re in the parks. The daily events can be seen right on the homepage of the app, so you won’t miss them!

Since your little ones are interested in entertainment, I highly recommend taking the time to see the Festival of the Lion King. It’s truly a larger-than-life show that makes it hard to not sing along to. My family loves seeing it every time we visit.

I hope this helps you prepare for your upcoming visit, Anston. If there’s anything else you need, Hakuna Matata, we’re always here to help!

Meet the Panelist: Shantel, Alabama

Hi ya Pals! I'm Shantel, an Army wife and mom of two. I grew up going to the parks, and now we're sharing that tradition with our kids. When I am not visiting the Walt Disney World Resort, I'm at home researching and planning for our next trip. One of my favorite things to do is search for new snacks to try, especially if they are Mickey shaped. I'm definitely living the dream my heart wished for! I cannot wait to answer your questions and help make your vacation even more magical!
