Happy Fourth of July, Sean! The Walt Disney World Resort is a great place to be on any night of the year for fireworks, but particularly around the patriotic holiday of the Fourth of July!
Most nights, Magic Kingdom Park hosts the
Happily Ever After fireworks show, however, in the past Disney’s Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky has launched over Magic Kingdom Park on July 3 and July 4. The show is approximately 15 minutes.
While plans haven’t been announced for this year, the special fireworks show to honor America has been a tradition at Magic Kingdom Park for many years. Given that Happily Ever After is currently listed as “No Times Available” for both July 3 and July 4, that is the best sign that the special Fourth of July fireworks show will once again light up the sky over Magic Kingdom Park on both evenings!
Sean, the former United States History teacher in me also wants to let you know that the Hall of Presidents in Liberty Square at Magic Kingdom Park is also a “must visit” attraction on the Fourth of July! Additionally, the
American Adventure at EPCOT also hosts Fourth of July-themed activities around the Fourth of July! This year, a special exhibit is on display honoring the service and recovery of service men and women wounded during their time of service. “Portraits of Courage: A Commander’s Tribute to America’s Warriors” includes paintings by former president George W. Bush.
Dreams do come true!
