Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Beverly! Getting to the Parks early in the morning is one of my favorite things. I turn into a pumpkin as the night draws closer, so Extra Magic Hours in the morning are the best!

You’re right that Main Street, U.S.A. will open about an hour before Magic Kingdom officially opens. You’re also right about transportation. Official Disney buses will start running from the Resort Hotels 45-60 minutes before the Park opens. So if Magic Kingdom is opening at 9, buses will start running around 8am. If you are on the monorail line you could expect that to start running around 8:30 that same morning. If Extra Magic Hours have the Park opening at 8am, you can expect the buses to start running around 7am.
