Hey, howdy, hi!
There have only been a few occasions where Walt Disney World has not been opened for guests.
So, you'll be happy to know that
Magic Kingdom will be open on Thanksgiving Day!
The decorations will already be up for the
Christmas season, so you’ll walk right into Main Street U.S.A. and see garlands, wreaths, and a massive Christmas tree all decked out. It’s the perfect backdrop for a holiday visit.
Crowds will definitely be heavier since Thanksgiving is a very popular day for families to spend at Disney, but with a little planning, it’s completely doable and still full of fun. If you’re going that day, I’d recommend planning your must-do rides early in the day. Be sure to use mobile ordering for food, as this will be a big help when the parks are busy.
This is a fantastic way to spend the holiday because instead of cooking or cleaning, you get to enjoy rides, parades,
fireworks, and lots of festive treats. Plus, Disney adds so many holiday touches, from themed snacks to seasonal shows, that it really feels like you’re celebrating in the most magical way.
Thanksgiving at the Magic Kingdom is definitely a memory-making experience!
