    Does the magic kingdom open mainstreet early?

    The short answer to your question is no; Main Street does not open early.  Guest who arrive before the official park opening are allowed to proceed through the ticket turnstiles.  From there, guest are funneled into the large opening in front of the train station, on the outside of the Magic Kingdom.  About five to ten minutes before the park opens, there is a short opening ceremony that takes place on the deck of the train station.  The festivities include singing, dancing, characters, and confetti; it's a celebratory start to the day!  When the park officially opens, guests are permitted to enter the park via the tunnels on either side of the train station.  Then--and only then--will Main Street officially "open".  Don't worry though; it's worth the wait!
