Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Tina. It looks like you'll be visiting
Magic Kingdom Park TOMORROW! That's super exciting. This iconic park is my very favorite of the four theme parks. As soon as I step onto Main Street, U.S.A. and see Cinderella Castle in the distance, I get a bit teary-eyed. What can I say? It's just so magical!
For a day that's practically perfect in every way, be sure to download the
My Disney Experience mobile app. It's magic at your fingertips! This app has lots of handy features that will help you maximize the pixie-dusted adventures you have in Magic Kingdom Park.
Plan to arrive at Magic Kingdom Park shortly before the official opening time. The park is the least crowded in the morning and you'll want to take advantage of the low wait times. This mom of three runs on equal parts pixie-dust and caffeine, so my first rope-drop stop is at
Main Street Bakery for an Iced Caramel Macchiato. With coffee in hand, I head straight for Fantasyland to ride beloved classics like Peter Pan's Flight and fan favorites like Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. To minimize the time you spend waiting in lines, use the Wait Times feature on the My Disney Experience mobile app. This feature shows you current wait times for all the attractions in the park! Checking the wait times before hopping in line has saved my family lots of valuable time in the theme parks.
To fuel your fun, grab a mid-morning snack at
Sleepy Hollow. My panel friends and I recommend the Fresh Fruit Waffle Sandwich - YUM! To save you some time, place your order with the
Mobile Food and Beverage Order feature on the My Disney Experience mobile app. (I told you it would come in handy!) After a snack, take some time to explore another one of the lands in Magic Kingdom Park - Liberty Square, Frontierland, Adventureland, or Tomorrowland.
Before you know it, it will be time for lunch. It may be difficult to secure a dining reservation at a Table-Service restaurant the day of your visit, but if there's somewhere you're really hoping to visit like The Crystal Palace or Be Our Guest Restaurant, use the
Mobile Dine Walk-Up Availability feature on the My Disney Experience mobile app to join the walk-up list. A table-service meal at lunchtime is a good opportunity to give your feet a break and to recharge.
Spend your afternoon riding more attractions and shopping in the unique retail locations throughout the park. When it's time for dinner, my family's go-to at Magic Kingdom Park is
Casey's Corner. We like to grab hot dogs and french fries and picnic on the Plaza Gardens next to Main Street, U.S.A. Picnicking gives us a chance to stake out a good viewing spot for
Happily Ever After. This nighttime spectacular is not to be missed! Be sure to check tomorrow's showtime on the My Disney Experience mobile app. It's truly the most magical way to end the day!
I hope this was helpful, Tina. I hope you have a wonderful visit to Magic Kingdom Park tomorrow!
