We are going to Magic Kingdom on Oct 24 and 25th. We are thinking of leaving and going on the monorail to a reort hotel to eat. How long does it take to get to some of the hotels via monorail? Thanks!

    Hey Jodie!

I love doing this! My family will find any excuse to ride Disney's Monorail, and the added bonus of dining in a nice Resort is awesome! We like to hop off at all of the Resorts and have a 'look-see' around, dreaming of staying there one day in the future.  Some of my favorite restaurants in Disney World can be found in the Resorts.

It really only takes minutes to ride the Monorail to Disney's Contemporary, Grand Floridian,  and Polynesian Resorts.   But factor in about 20 minutes for wait times and walking if you have a reservation at one of the Resorts.

Thank you for thinking of the Disney Moms Panel when you had a question; please let us know if we can help again!
