I see that the magic kingdom is no longer reservable. My family has 4 pssss for that day but we have a family meme er joining us last is there anyway to get one more ticket for decemeber 31st?

    Season's greetings, Jeffery!

A warm welcome to planDisney and thank you for bringing us your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm excited to hear you're planning a wonder-filled wintertime visit to The Most Magical Place on Earth! Jeffery, I understand that not all members of your travel party were able to snag a theme park reservation for Magic Kingdom Park on a date that is no longer available. Let's discuss your options to ensure a magical experience for the whole family!

Currently, to enter a Walt Disney World Resort theme park, Guests must have both valid theme park admission and a theme park reservation. (Beginning on January 9. 2024, theme park reservations will no longer be required for date-based tickets!) Jeffery, New Year's Eve is an incredibly popular date to visit the theme parks, and many Guests make vacation plans well in advance when visiting during the holiday season. At the time of writing, it looks like theme park reservation availability for December 31, 2023 is limited to Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park. Plans do change, so I recommend your family member checks the Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar frequently for any changes to available theme parks. If your family member's theme park ticket includes the Park Hopper option, they may be able to hop to Magic Kingdom Park to meet you after 2:00 p.m., subject to capacity limitations. However, due to the popularity of that specific date, know that "hopping" privileges may be restricted that afternoon.

Alternatively, your family member could purchase a Disney Incredi-Pass. This Annual Pass type offers Guests the ultimate flexibility in visiting the theme parks, boasting no blockout dates throughout the entire year! At the time of writing, all four parks show theme park reservation availability for Disney Incredi-Pass holders. This option might make sense if your family member plans on visiting the Walt Disney World Resort multiple times throughout the year or during especially popular times!

Jeffery, I hope you've found this information helpful as you continue to count down the days until your exciting holiday getaway! I'm wishing you a thrilling New Year's Eve celebration and a year filled with the wonder and joy of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks. If you have any additional vacation planning questions, feel free to revisit planDisney anytime. We're all ears!

    Happy holidays,
