I love that you are thinking ahead about the nighttime entertainment at Magic Kingdom, by the way. As someone who loves both
Happily Ever After and
Disney Starlight, we often try to plan our evening so we have space for both.
Let’s get to your question, Matt. If you have a
Magic Kingdom Pre-Party for Happily Ever After and you also want to view Disney Starlight, is it possible? Technically, yes! Once you check in to the dessert party, you are given a wristband that enables you to move in and out of the reserved space in Tomorrowland Terrace. So you could check in and then immediately go find a space along Main Street, U.S.A or the hub grass (you wouldn’t be able to view it clearly from Tomorrowland Terrace) to watch Disney Starlight. However, you would spend at least half of your dessert party time on the parade (30 minutes of wait time for a spot plus 12-15 minutes for the parade). When I checked the
park hours for mid-August, I didn’t see Disney Starlight listed yet, so the show times may still be being finalized. This is great news, Matt, because that means they may offer two showings of Disney Starlight that evening (no guarantees, however). If they do, I would recommend going to the later Disney Starlight showing, which typically takes place after the fireworks. This would let you fully enjoy your dessert party without feeling rushed while searching for the perfect spot for the Disney Starlight.
