Hi Teresa!
Thanks for your question. So glad to hear you're visiting
Disney in just a few short days! What I would give to be at Disney then. But then, what I would give to be at Disney
every day of the year if I could! :-)
In terms of food, here is Disney's official verbiage as it relates to
outside food in the theme parks:
"Guests are allowed to bring outside food and nonalcoholic beverage items into the park for self-consumption, provided they are not in glass containers and do not require heating, reheating, processing, refrigeration or temperature control and do not have pungent odors."
We always bring small snacks and at least 1 or 2 water bottles per person when we enter the theme parks. Disney has exquisite food and beverage choices at
Magic Kingdom and in all of their theme parks, but when you're on the go (or working off a budget like we sometimes are), having those extra food and beverage snacks on-hand is convenient when needed, not to mention saves you a buck or two while in the parks. On a few occasions, we've brought my son's favorite kids meal from an area fast food place into Magic Kingdom and it wasn't a problem, so long as you don't require or need it to be re-heated. There are no microwaves to heat food in the theme parks.
Hope that answers your questions. May all your wishes come true at
Disney next week!
Terry
