Hi, there!
Welcome to planDisney, Lisa. I'm so glad you stopped by! Your visit to Magic Kingdom Park is just around the corner. You must be so excited!
Magic Kingdom Park is my absolute favorite of the four theme parks at the Walt Disney World Resort. As soon as I step onto Main Street, U.S.A., and I see Cinderella Castle in the distance, I can't help but get a bit teary-eyed. What can I say? It's just so magical!
To answer your question, there's no officially published date for when the holiday decorations come down at the theme parks. In years past, the Christmas decor has come down as early as the first week of January and as late as the third week of January. That's all to say, you may or may not see holiday trimmings at Magic Kingdom Park on the date of your visit!
What I can tell you for sure is that you'll certainly experience
The World's Most Magical Celebration during your visit. This 50th anniversary event is not to be missed! You can expect dazzling EARidescent decorations,
golden Character sculptures, and a brand-new nighttime spectacular. Viewing
Disney Enchantment is the perfect way to end a day of pixie-dusted adventures!
When you arrive at Magic Kingdom Park, be sure to grab a Times Guide at the entrance. The Times Guide will list the day's entertainment offerings and schedule of events.
I hope this was helpful, Lisa. I'm wishing you a visit to Magic Kingdom Park that is practically perfect in every way!
Ashley
