Hello ! We’re going to magic kingdom march 31st and animal kingdom april 1, i already purchased the tickets and reservations, my question is if we can leave the parks (1-3pm)for my baby’s nap and come back to the same park on both days

Hi Sonia! Welcome to planDisney! It's great to have you stop by!

Let the countdown begin! You are less than a month away until you arrive for a magical Walt Disney World vacation! Let's dive into your question and help you plan for an unforgettable stay.

I have great news for you, Sonia! Taking a mid-day break to recharge is absolutely allowed. In fact, it's a tip I share often, especially with families traveling with little ones. After spending the morning at one of the parks, taking a few hours in the middle of the day to nap and relax is usually needed. It gives you time to step away from the hustle and bustle and get you ready for the night ahead. When you return to the park, simply tap back in with your MagicBand+ or admission card to re-enter the park you originally started at. If you add the Park Hopper Option to your ticket package, you will not be limited to returning to the same park. You can hop to any of the other theme parks each day.

I took a peek at the operating hours for the Magic Kingdom and Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park on the two nights you mentioned. The Magic Kingdom is scheduled to be open until 9 PM on March 31st. However, Animal Kingdom is slated to close at 6 PM. With Animal Kingdom closing earlier in the night, make sure to have a plan in place when you return. You'll want to take advantage of the remaining time you have left.

Sonia, there are Baby Care Centers located at each of the theme parks. Many of them have been recently refurbished and are an excellent place to stop and freshen up. While my daughters have not needed this space in a few years now, many of my fellow planDisney panelists have raved about the amenities offered at each one. To locate them, use the My Disney Experience App on your mobile device. Tap on the map logo on the bottom of your screen and scroll over to "Guest Services." Select the park you are visiting and you'll see an icon for the Baby Care Center inside of the park. You can also ask any Cast Member and they will point you in the right direction.

I hope you have a magical time during your stay! Stop back and see us again at planDisney!

    See ya real soon!
