Will be a Magic Kingdom but looking for a place for a sit down meal, outside of MK- any suggestions on a location that is a little easier to access from MK and then to go back to? Thanks in advance !!

    Hi Kerry,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

Are you counting down the days til your Walt Disney World vacation? There's so much exciting and new to experience this summer!

My best suggestion for dining experiences that offer fantastic food and easy access from Magic Kingdom is to head to Disney's Contemporary Resort. California Grill is my all-time favorite restaurant at Walt Disney World. I simply love the food, the vibe, and the view. The Wave... of American Flavors offers a more laid-back lounge feel on the lobby-level. For casual Quick-Service, Contempo Café provides a nice variety. And of course, Chef Mickey's gives you a chance to hang out with Mickey and his pals and break out your happy dance. What I love about Disney’s Contemporary Resort is that it's an easy and quick walk from Magic Kingdom. You can also take the Resort Monorail.

If you'd like to venture just a bit farther, you can head over to Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa by boat or Monorail, or to Disney's Wilderness Lodge by boat. Each of these resorts offers a selection of quality Table Service restaurants, Quick-Service restaurants, and lounges. Artist Point at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and Cítricos at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa are 2 of my favorites.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
