I will be going to Magic Kingdom this 4th of July with my 4 year old daughter. She is extremely sound sensitive so that makes watching firework displays scary for her. My thought is to go to the Polynesian Resort to have dinner and stay for the fireworks.

    Hi Leanne!

I've got a couple of sound sensitive kids as well, so I completely understand your situation!  Dinner at Disney's Polynesian Resort and viewing the fireworks on the beach afterward is a fantastic plan!  Disney's Contemporary Resort also has an open air viewing area on the 4th floor (past the shops; on the opposite end from Chef Mickey's) that is also offers a pretty fantastic view!

I'll let you know what has worked for us--and we used to rush out of the parks to miss the fireworks!  I purchased child-sized ear muffs!  Baby Banz makes the ones I purchased, and they are fabulous!  I pack them in our park bag so that we always have them with us, and we've actually been able to enjoy fireworks in the park!  Up close and personal!  They've really made a HUGE difference for our nights at Walt Disney World!

    Have a magical vacation!
