We will be at Magic Kingdom on July 1 & 2. Can you tell me if the fireworks show will be the same as if we had actually been there on the 4th. Are fireworks actually different on the 4th of July at MK?

    Hi, Kathleen!

I'm currently putting the finishing touches on my family's fourth visit to Walt Disney World® Resort over the 4th of July holiday - I hope you have had as much fun planning as I have.

There is a special fireworks display that occurs for this holiday, Disney's Celebrate America! A Fourth of July Concert in the Sky. This spectacular show set to a patriotic music score will take your breath away as it lights up the sky on July 3rd and July 4th at 9:00pm. Wishes Nighttime Spectacular will still be available for your fireworks fun on July 1st and July 2nd.

If your schedule allows, I would make it a point to catch this stunning display from a Monorail Resort, or from the Transportation & Ticket Center. These vantage points offer the best view of this particular show.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions, Kathleen. I hope this information helps in your planning.

    Let freedom ring!
